Yes without birth registration you cannot apply for marriage as it is needed in the marriage process but marriage registration is quite fast compared to birth.
This is regarding post sixty one case. My birth registration is in process and I have been told that after verification it takes two to three months to generate the birth certificate can someone please explain why does it take so long?
Also once it’s verified can we apply for marriage registration in the mean time or do we need to wait till the birth certificate is generated.
Some guidance would be helpful.

I have my appointment next week to apply for BI.
Can someone please help me with which all documents are required to be taken and how many xerox copies are needed to be submitted
Also, after applying for BI, how long does it get it
is there just a normal process or is there a tatkaal like option which can help get the application moved faster.. if there is one, does anyone know its cost compared to the normal process time
