Comments on this Consulate-General
For post sixty one, currently CRC is working on cases submitted in August twenty one.
Your papers were submitted in October twenty one, which means that your case has not even come up for processing.
So how can you blame the agent? Travco cannot be blamed as they cannot influence the speed of your process as it is beyond their control. Time taken depends on CRC. So you need to wait for a few months till your case comes up, and once it comes up, it will be sent for manual verification to BMC as mentioned clearly on Travco's website.
Also did Travco force you to come to their office? Have they forced you to use their services? You yourself chose to use their services, so you are most welcome to discontinue using their services by changing the agent/lawyer if you feel that they are overburdened with cases.
My post sixty one Mumbai Birth was submitted in October twenty one through Travco. I am unable to get any favourable response as to where my papers are stuck. I have also been going to the BMC every month since July twenty two, but my name is not come for verification. Has anyone's Mumbai Birth Registration come through? I'm really very dissatisfied and disappointed in the agent. I won't recommend them anymore. They were very good before, but now I feel that They are overburdened with cases and it's taking a toll on their previous cases as well as their customer service. That's what I feel. Anyways, Is there anything I can do? Should I move my case elsewhere? Any help will be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
Thank you for updating us
I have been waiting since four years now but hopefully any week now I should get the news
You should expect your Assento de Nascimento in a month
Post sixty birth registration and before papers were submitted in twenty eighteen this is of my parents
Papers of mine were given in Jan twenty three along with marriage of parents. Marriage was registered in three months, parents birth took four years
Submitted papers in Portugal last year in May end
Your response has given me clarity thank you so much, do you know how long this process takes ?
is your process pre or post sixty one?
and when did you submit your case?
Congrats
It means that very soon the Conservatory of Lisbon will create your new birth record in portugal. It is also called Assento de Nascimento. Once you get this Assento, you can then apply for BI appointment.
What happens to those people who don't have a ration card or voter card?
My agent said that my birth verification is completed and now it is queued for registration.
What does this mean and how long will it take ?
