Hi, anyone know what date of BI renewal is being processed at the Portuguese Consulate in Goa? Thank You.
I have not yet received Bi appointment mail.
Thanks a lot Maria. My registration will take at the least three years. Which is quiet daunting. That's why I am thinking of doing a course & going there ahead of time. I never knew of this Portuguese nationality & never wanted to go abroad. I don't have a job here currently as I left my job. I found out about this nationality only in twenty twenty one. My goals have thus changed. Now I just want to be out of here soon for a better life. If anyone knows of any other means to apply as a indian national for a job abroad please do let me know or if anyone has done a course there after getting their Portuguese passports?
You can travel to any country with a passport be it Indian or Portuguese or any nationality. The difference is the strength of the passports. With an Indian pp you will require visas to most countries while with a Portuguese pp you travel visa free to almost all countries in the world.
Now if your question was aimed at knowing if you can work and live in the UK with your Portuguese pp then the Answer is no. After brexit (Britain leaving the EU) this is not permitted anymore. You will need to obtain a work permit.
An an engineer, your prospects are already very bright. Ireland and Germany would work best for you. You can also try Scandinavian countries. And if you're below thirty five years, you have an even better and brighter chance. My suggestion just concentrate on your paperwork for obtaining your citizenship. Economies and economic situations change rather quickly. Cross the bridge when you reach there. All the best.
Yes in USA you can stay for ninety days visa free. And require a work visa. Honestly I'm confused which country is good. My background is BE & MBA. Not tech. Also I am in the process of submitting my case, so I was planning on maybe doing a course in one country so that I can reach there before & do a job side by side. Gain some experience, earn some money & see how it is there. Which places are good with my background? And which countries are good with the job market? I was first thinking of portugal as I have my family there, but now thinking the quality of life is not so great there. Salaries are low and the economy is not so good. Is there any good job portal in these countries or any goan groups that help goans?
My wife and me just migrated to Pakistan.
We bought a sprawling bungalow with garden and personal metro rail in the compound.
All you need is, just register yourself there, ofcourse with your PORTUGUESE PASSPORT.
I submitted my parent's marriage registration in December Twenty one that's last year and I received the Assento in May twenty two after five months.
I had a name discrepancy query that had come up in March Twenty two, that's why the delay because I had to submit additional documentation to corroborate that discrepancy. That's why I'm assuming it took so long. But from what I hear, marriage registration takes anywhere between three to six months. If you're doing it through an agent you can cross check with them. If you're doing it on your own, you can ask the consulate after submitting your papers before you leave.
Best country to settle in these days are like yemen, Pakistan, afganistan
