Hi i wanted to ask. My mothers documents have the name errors compared with her birth teor. I was asked to change the name on her passport & i think on my birth certificate (which would be only her name)
Now my query is, do i need to change the name on other documents of my mother like adhar pan bank accounts etc.?? It will be a big deal because we have many bank accounts & mutual funds stocks etc. What is usually done?
The lawyer only informed me to change names on her passport and my birth cert. Never said anything else.
I had gone today to click photo. The photographer was telling me that one guy told him to click zoom photos for BI purpose. So I got confused.
I know dear, me too in the same boat as all waiting and waiting.
But can't loose hope and we cannot take any action against these.
Their best is our worst. We have been listening this for the past two years now. Inspite being Covid been ended the time lag was just reduced by two months. If they work to give more appointments per day the picture could have been different today. Shame on this embassy people and their arrogant attitudes.

Just spoke to Counsulate person, the timeline for new CC appointment is a year which we all know.
But the officer confirmed that they are trying their best to reduce the timeline/ waiting period.
Try ext SIX, one lady ans the phone and request her with your query.
She will ans if in her capacity.
Just be humnle and request her.
Where has the BI appointment dates reached?
Do you also have to upload Indian passport copy along with Assent de Nascimento for online CC appointment? Anybody please clarify...
Since last couple of days nobody is answering their landline. Both their numbers just keep ringing and then auto disconnect.
