That is clear. I assumed you wanted to apply for one.
I had emailed consulado goa before posting my question on this site and now the consulate replied me that you don't require appointment to collect citizen card. The collection time is 2.30 pm.

The Portugal consulate in Goa has temporarily stopped taking new application for birth registration. they advise people to submit papers in CRC Portugal. can anyone help deshmond in this regard? refer to his comment below .

Yes. All services at the consulate need to be attained by booking an appointment.
CRC is functioning as normal and any info regarding stoppage of accepting applications is untrue.
2nd generation case cannot progress at all without 1st generation closure and outcome. You should focus on completing the 1st generation case and only then submit 2nd generation application, to avoid the latter going below the pile of applications.
Do we need to take an appointment to collect the citizens card.
Hey Gavin can you let me know when you get a response from the consulate so I have an idea of how long they take to reply cause I have a feeling that the email i put is wrong. If so then I can apply for it again! Please help. Thanks!
Can anyone let me know how can i submit my documents in Portugal for birth registration? i am informed by the Goa consulate that they have stopped taking new application for birth registration. i have all the papers ready.

After my most recent post a few minutes earlier. I tried one last time and yipee ...
My appointment request just went through. Just as it was explained on this forum. the green ticker flashed for a few seconds saying that they would get back to us at the registered email id.
Fingers crossed.
