I’m a little confused. You said you applied for your PP on 16Aug17 and collected it on 30Nov.
However, you surrendered your Indian passport in October and even visited the FRRO office in October (i.e. before you collected your PP)...did they entertain you without the foreign passport? As far as I understand, you need to submit a copy of the foreign passport at the time of surrender of the Indian passport.
You said you have a multiple entry visa expiring in Oct18….Have you also applied for OCI in UK?
Also please confirm whether the Passport Office and FRRO ask for the citizen card also or they only check the PP.
It takes 2 months after examining to issue assent
Well if the births verifiable online then it should be done my May/June 2018 latest.
Thanks Caithu for sharing the message i discovered that the CRC mentions dates as per MDY format . My agent had lied to me submission was in FEB 2017 and I got worried because may2017 papers were examined however on my checking with CRC in January 2017 I found an inter office message showing my process number and date as 05/01/2017 , I assumed it to be Jan 2017, now after caithu message I researched a bit and got to know all CrC communication dates format is MM/D/Y.
Jack / SRZ since my submission date is May 01/2017 and CRC is examining May 10/2017 when do you think I would get my assent in hand .
I applied on 16/08/17 for passport
Collected passport on 30th November. Couldnt go earlier to collect although it was ready in 1st week of November.
Surrendered Indian passport on 3rd October at Passport office - Rs.5000/-
FRRO fees on 18/10/17 visa fees plus penalty Rs.9750/-
No breakdown given.
I have 1 year multiple entry visa that expires on 16/10/18 (visa is given from day Portuguese passport applied at consulate)
Guys does cartao get done by 3 week for urgent my 21 day is Monday should collect it as I inquired this week consulate said check next week

well the person your registering their documents along with the person applying their paspsort copy only along with Aadhar cars can be submitted.
