The consulate must have given you a date.
Apply for online appointment for passport. With the cc payment details. And upload the same.
If your cc is ready, they will. Give you a morning appointment.
This saves you one trip to the consulate.

requirement is birth certificate of either grandfather or grandmother together with their marriage certificate which you have met. So expect a positive reply from CRC.

You should hear from them In 2-4 months time. Try to submit their death certificate as well it full hold more weight on your case.
Guys I cudnt find my granfathers birth certificate in margao of 1917 ? howver i have submitted my grandmothers birth certificate .
Rest all the documents are submitted ? What is the next reply i shud expect from CRC?
Don't think you know everything how dare you give wrong info to the people your not not sure why do you write and September 2016 cases are of pre 1961 not post 1961. We don't need your guessing.
