Legal Capacity for Polish Nationals
Just sharing what me and my husband did to secure a Legal Capacity from Poland. We got married April 2017. I myself was in this forum back in 2017 looking for answers on how to get Legal Capacity for Polish Nationals.

I also shared the steps to 2 other Filipinas with Polish Fiance. They both got married this year.

Note: Process might change when the Polish Embassy in Manila is fully operational.

- Requirements for Filipina -
1. PSA Birth Certificate with Red Ribbon
2. PSA CENOMAR with Red Ribbon
3. Copy of Passport (Biometric page)
▪️ All documents sent to Fiancé via LBC (P2,500 3 to 5 days)

Steps:
(There is no Polish Embassy in the Philippines so my Fiancé had to go to Poland for a week to take care of his Legal Capacity)

1. Went to certified translator to have my Birth Certificate and CENOMAR translated from English to Polish (3 days but can be expedited for a fee)

2. Went to Urzád Stanu Cywilnego in Ursus to get LC with all the requirements (30 minutes)

3. Translated Legal Capacity from Polish to English

4. Went to Polish Foreign Ministry to have the Legal Capacity stamped (same day)

5. Went to Philippine Embassy in Warsaw to authenticate Legal Capacity (2 working days Fee 100 PLN)

What my fiance brought to the Philippines for our Marriage Permit:
1. LC with Red Ribbon from Phil Embassy in Warsaw
2. His Birth Certificate translated from Polish to English with Red Ribbon from Philippine Embassy in Warsaw

Impt: Check with LCR in the Phil where you will get married before your fiance arrives and show them the LC (for my case printed version only). Ask them if it's enough or if they need additional document.

A note to Miss Jean- Michel
There is no Polish consulate in Cebu. Nearest embassy is in Kuala Lumpur, but they are totally useless as they do not respond to any e-mails.
I suggest to contact Embassy of Netherlands in Maynila as they represent some European countries.

A note to Miss Dae
Read my earlier posts on this website. Your fiancee needs to obtain a "capacity to marry" certificate from his local civil registry office. This certificate has to be specific and contain your name. It has to be translated into English by a certified translator.I suggest to contact your local registry office i the Philippines and confirm what they require. Everything takes time and I suggest to act quickly.
