A note to Miss Confused
Traditionally in Poland, if a husband;s name ends with -SKI, wife;s name ends with -SKA.
As it is confusing for Westerners, like in the US, often wife;s name is written exactly as husband;s name which in fact is incorrect.
Try to have a correct name ending with -SKA.
Visa- visa issued by any EU mamber country permits travelling inside the Schengen area - any country which is a member of EU.
I suggest to contact Polish embassy in Kuala Lumpur and write them an e-mail. Do not waste time.

WHICH IS WHICH?
Im a Filipina. My boyfriend is a Polish citizen. We're getting married next year first few months. He lives in Ireland for 10years and counting (he's not an Ireland citizen) , and we will live in Ireland together-soon. Now, where he can get his Legal Capacity? We dont have Polish Embassy here in Phils.

I am applying Visa and change last name (here in Phils) -His last three letters of his last name is "....SKI". Which last name am gonna use? Is it "....SKI" or am gonna use "......SKA"?

Am I getting a Poland Visa or Ireland Visa? Where to get Visa? What are the requirements?

Please help me guys! Looking forward for your answers here.

Using correct Surname
Poland has a law in using surname. For women we need to use SKA at the end but remember if you are applying your documents to our embassy (Philippine Embassy) might as well use our traditional surname. If your husband surname ending SKI then use it. I just follow my husband surname with correct spelling and no question. WE ARE FILIPINO FOLLOW OUR RULES. :)

My case is different. My husband is pure Polish but lived in USA. So our case is completely different.

Try to go to Fort Santiago, Manila there is an old Polish Embassy and they will direct you where to go. My husband and I went there just to visit.

A note to Miss Love
Your boyfriend needs to contact his local Civic Office and obtain relevant documents.
I strongly suggest to have these documents completed and translated into English by a certified translator in Poland.

I do not think there will be one in the Philippines!

But firstly, he needs to contact Philippine Republic's Embassy in Warsaw or London and request information about paper work required for a marriage.
Philippine Embassies in varions countries provide this information on their websites.

There is no Polish Embamssy in the Philippines.
The closes one is in Kuala Lumpur.
