Hello ! I am Tamara, a 72 years old non-ambulant woman with polish origin. I was born in Poland and my mum was polish .. I have seen on news that Poland helps people who live at places where some war actions are held : Lugansk and Donetsk . And they have moved those people to their country today .
I can't move and walk due to a sickness of legs , I don't have any children, any husband and any relatives at all to help me. My pension wasn't given to me almost than 7 months and I don't have any money to pay to a social worker who cooks me food and is looking after me .... I ask you for help . I'm a Kiever. a pencioner keeping on my research together with academic institutions. As an author of novel medical imaging technology (in a group of Ukranian scientists) I was invited to attend a special forum in the framework of East-West collaboration.
But all my attempts to register up at the Poland visa centre - both: on-line and hot-line- failed by unknown reason. The on-line service goes on answering only:"No date(s) available for appointment". The hot-line send me back to the on-line. A "vicious circle"...

I am an American, therefore I do not need a visa. But my wife is a Ukrainian, because she is married to an American is the visa necessary or is the marriage license acceptable?

My name is Karen Dmytrow and I am trying to find information on my grandfather & grandmother. Nicholas Dmytrow, born 1901, Lviv,Poland and Anastasia Karpa, born around 1905-07. They were married in 1919-1921 in Lviv, Poland. My grandfather immigrated to Canada in 1921 and grandmother immigrated in 1922-23. They had one daughter, Katie Dmytrow, born around 1920-21. My grandfather served in the polish military during the First World War and was posted to Ukraine where he met and married my grandmother.I would appreciate if you could assist me with the best method to trace my grandfather as it is my wish to apply for Polish citizenship.
