Rehabilitation and Basic Services Organization (RBSO) is an Afghan National, Non-profitable, non-political, non-governmental civil society organization established in 2013, registered with the Ministry of Economy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan as registration # 2880. RBSO works for ADVOCACY, ELECTION & DEMOCRACY, PEACE BUILDING & CONFLICT RESOLUTION, ANTI-CORRUPTION AND GOOD GOVERNANCE, HUMAN RIGHTS & SOCIAL PROTECTION AND ACCESS TO JUSTICE through CIVIC EDUCATION, PUBLIC AWARENESS, YOUTH DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTIONS, WOMEN EMPOWERMENT ACTIVITIES, LIVELIHOOD SUPPORT AND EMERGENCY RESPONSE interventions.
Vision:
(RBSO)’s vision is of a Peaceful, Free and Developed Afghanistan based upon (Islamic and good Afghan cultural) values. The population would live in peace, sustain themselves with dignity and be able to manage their own development, and that of the society in which they live, by being aware and responsible citizens.
RBSO MISSION
Rehabilitation and Basic Services Organization’s mission is to improve the living standard of Afghan communities by providing them livelihood opportunities through community development approach to ensure their democratic life standard with quality of health, education, agriculture, capacity building, Vocational Skills Training, youth development, gender focused activities and other social and economical needs.
