RAF Polish Squadron 1586 Brindisi Italy December 1944
My father Sgt Eng. Toedor Tadeusz Majer; a highly decorated war hero, was killed in action with the rest of the crew of Halifax Mk 11 LL186 bomber when it was shot down at Radatice; Slovakia, December 28th 1944. They are all buried now in the War Graves Cemetery in Prague. There is a memorial cross marking the the site of the crash just south of Radatice. Myself an my family would be very grateful indeed if anybody has any more information abouit this crash or relatives of the crew members. Thank you.
