I have applied to a university in Poland and I am required to apostille the degree certificate and transcript in the country of issuance, which is the UK in this case. I was supposed to get it notarised by the British Council which indicated they had stopped providing the service. I sent the original to the UK and they are returning them without they being legalised for lack of notarisation. They are requesting that alternatively, I get a UK notary public to do that. What kind of assistance can the consulate provide in this circumstance. Your prompt response would be much appreciated.
