I renewed my passport first week of April, I need my passport back first week of July for travel, I asked them personally if I could expedite the process they say they can't, but I could follow up from them through phone call. My husband called last week nobody picks up the phone so because of frustration he left a message and one nice lady return his call, she said my passport is not there yet and to call again monday because the passport usually arrived every friday. Here we go again, my husband called, and as usual nobody answer the phone so he left a message. Then one lady call him and ask for the information. So my husband gave me the phone to speak with the lady and I explain i was calling to follow up. She ask me when is your released date I said its July but I have been told to call back on monday to follow up. She says just follow the released date and then I was trying to explain to her she hangup on me. We called again and two times and different person hangs up on us. Last time my husband called he was so upset and luckily they answer the phone call, my husband ask for the manager or the person in charge for consulate general, he wants to talk to them about this kind of services, then from that moment they start to talk nice and calmly and they gave us the information we want to hear from them. What is the problem if we called and ask for the information we need? This consulate needs a good customer service representative with knowledge of everything And please never hangup when someone is talking. Its very rude.... And please work on Processing time of all services. Its a long wait....

Ano ba talaga?
Hay naku! Bakit iba-iba yung processing time ng passport?

"WHY"
WHY are all the comments very very negative. My wife of 41 years explained to me most of the reviews that is on the website. There must be a way of improvement or do we have to call the the head office in Manila or the pres. of the Philippines.
We are talking about the Consulate General in Canada.
Please make some changes and even answer the phone

Renewed passport
I had my passport last June in Regina. Just wondering if somebody has received their renewed passports. It has been too long, a little apprehensive.

Unfriendly & uncooperative attitude of Consulate employees
I phoned the consulate for some legal /investment questions ,the employee in the visas section ,did not even let me put my questions In the 3 minutes he told me 6 times to go to their web page,(I was there and there was nothing in it ) I Phoned the embassy , the same attitude and they refer to me to the New York consulate, ... In short I have to contact 3 consulates, phoned 6 people , to be told at the end to email them 2 questions that could take no more than 3 minutes to ask them and answer them
Congratulations for their bureaucratic, unfriendly uncooperative attitude to someone who plans to invest the country
