MARRIAGE INQUIRY
Good day! :) I am a Filipino, I got married with a Singaporean guy named Teck Hwee Koh. We had our ROM in Singapore last July 16, 2012. But we're staying in the Philippines. I had with my our marriage license & marriage contract. What should I do so that the Philippine government will acknowledge my marriage in Singapore and change my marital status here?
Hoping to hear from you soon. Thanks! :)

enquiry
I was so shocked with the staff in php embassy, as this my 1st time to call up them yesterday morning to enquiry something abt the document for to endorse.i'm a singaporean and my wife was a pinoy which we just married 2 weeks ago, b4 i got married i already check it out with the s'pore Goverment abt the procedure. So when i gave up a call to the PE yesterday morning, for nothing the staff raise her voice towards me for no reason and told me that they dunno what endorsement. I told them dat i'm actually remarried with one php lady in cebu, and s'pore Registration of marriage told me if i remarried again in there i just need to bring my marriage cert in here phillipine embassy to get endorsement that were told by S'pore Authority (MCYS)..So is that difficult for the PE staff and why they need to shout or raise voice to the public..is this the way phillipine Goverment teach their staff the way speaking to the public?

Mentally ill Filipino maid allowed to work in Singapore
Dear all,

I'm an employer who's cheated of the agency fees and placement loan fees by a n unreliable maid agency named "SXX GXXXX Maid Agency" on the 2nd floor of Hougang Green in S'pore. The maid agent, an irresponsible Hokkien speaking S'porean woman, claimed that the Filipino transfer maid is excellent in childcare and housework. She claimed the maid was returned returned to the agency because the employer could not stand her look. How funny when the maid can work for the employer for 4 months there! It turned out the maid was the total opposite as she has ezcema, is frail and mentally unfit to work. Her agent knows it but went ahead to market her anyway. The maid eventually went amok and ran away. Now the maid agency has discharged all responsibilties and not willing to help. In the end, I have to bear all expenses and cancel her WP as repatriate her by myself, while the maid agency just sits there and do nothing!

So, to all employers and maids out there, please go through the background of the maid agency thoroughly and check out the refund/ exchange policy before you enter into contracts with these rogue agencies.
You can request to check the maid agency's licence by logging in to: www.mom.gov.sg or call 64385122 to find out whether the maid agency is blacklisted or not. Make sure that the agency personnel is authorised to sign on the employment contract.

If monies are not recoverable, please complain to MOM, AEAS, Casetrust and go to Small Claims Tribunals to chase your monies back.
