10th Celebrate The Sea Arts Festival
Last Sept 24, 2011,we were so happy when a staff of the Phil. Consul in Manado, Indonesia (Ms. Agatha Hizon) visited the Sintesa Peninsula Hotel, where an On-the-Spot Painting Contest for the "10th Celebrate The Sea Arts Festival" was being held. This painting competition is the Final Round because they already chose the top 50 (Prelim Round). Contestants came ffrom Hongkong, India, 2 Filipinas and mostly Indonesians. Ms. Katrina Chua won the Ocean Ambassador (Prelim Round), while Jamia Mei Tolentino won the Silver (Merit of Excellence) in the On-The-Spot Painting Contest(Final Round). After the awarding we were invited by the Phil. Consul Gen. Noel Servigon to their office before we leave Manado (Sept. 26, 2011). Mr. Servigon gave Jam the welcome scarf? which we treasure and some delicacies. We were so well treated and we're proud of our Phil. Consul Officers and Staff, like a family. They even sent us to the airport with so much VIP assistance from the 2 staff (Richard & sorry forgot the name). We thank you very much, Our Consul Gen, Noel Servigon, Vice-Consul Ricarte
Abejuela III, Ms. Agatha Hizon, and their very friendly and super assistance staff. May you continue to be an inspiration to others. In Manado, Indonesia our Phil. Consul Officials were the best, our experience was awesome, keep it up!
