i do received the same message like yours from david brennan of astrazeneca...i do believed that its a scam....so better yet,dont waste your time on it...
receieved an e-mail also from david brennan, i know its too good to be true but then when they start saying to you that you need to send these amount, i started doubting it.
All I know is that, if ever that you will be showing money, it will be checked with you holding the amount not sending it to a money gram... what a scam!!!!

From my own observation, information,is either the agency handles every processing here or you contact the UK embassy in your country,now what ever way you choose to go about it, money is very much involved,but processing your application with the UK embassy in your country after you sign the contract form they will be needing the sponsorship certificate from me,then my bank account statement,also charges will be paid to the embassy to processing your visa and work permit at the end of the day you stand a 50% chance of getting the visa from the UK embassy in your country,but when applying with the agency here in UK,they process traveling documents direct from the British Home office here in UK,the British home office has higher autonomy than any UK embassies in the world,if traveling documents are processed with them there is nothing like denial.In this regards i will like you to go for the agency.
I got break down from the agency and was told that to process an applicant traveling document,that includes flight,work permit and visa,security deposit,agency overhead,medical etc will cost about 10,500 British pounds,but as your employer am willing to commit my self to all charges except for your documentation which you must bear.That includes your medical identification number,REC registration,documentations amongst others.

I guess you have received the contract form from the agency,your respond should be repaid you don't have to delay the contract papers sign and send back to the agency as soon as possible for your friends they can do the same,for those who has not renew their passport they can scan the old one to the agency,then apply for the renew,before the slip comes out they have renewed their passport then will appear at the UK embassy after the agency might have couriered the visa slip to them.
