New Passport Renewed in Jakarta not forwarded to DFA Region VII Cebu
I renewed my passport last 2 August 2012 and submitted a letter of request to Phil Embassy to forward my new passport to DFA cebu branch, when I completed my contract last September 2012. I tried to claim my passport in DFA cebu but was told it was not received yet.DFA cebu asked me to submit another request letter for the new passport w/c the official receipt but still until now I dont have my new passport, question is what is happening.I contacted Philippine Embassy in Jakarta by phone and inquired my new passport, according to the lady on the line that they have my passport still in the embassy,I am wondering why it was not YET forwarded to DFA Cebu When I have requested it so. Its been 5 months now and that passport still in Phil Embassy in Jakarta,What was really the procedure regarding this issue, how many months do I have to wait in order to get hold my passport, for how long does the Phil. Embassy in Jakarta intend to hold my new passport, why so much delay. What shall do now and for what purpose it was on hold. Can I secure or renew again my extended passport in the Philippines in case my new passport will not be forwarded to DFA Cebu after my contract expire on March 2013?I am an OFW working onboard foreign vessel that need this passport for my line of work.

Invitation letter for my son to come to Indonesia
I'm a Filipino working here in Indonesia. Last July 2011, I paid 200,000 rupiah for the invitation for my sister to come here as tourist and I did the transaction at 1:30-2:00 pm in the Philippine Embassy. I waited for the processing and it was fine. I got it immediately just a matter of 30 minutes. The same is true with my co-teacher who took affidavit of invitation for her daughter last October, 2011. I was very happy that it was fast which means our people are doing fine. When I came back this March 15, 2012, a matter of 4 months, I came back to get again another invitation for my son to come here on April 10. The price increased to Rp.250,000 and the receipt is not written clearly. It is written as 200,000 and I can not get it on that same day except if I'll pay Rp.100,000 for an Overtime pay. I was surprised because I was early around 1:30 and I'm far from the area and I was alone doing the transaction. I know pretty well that under Phil. Law the official time is until 5 pm. So, I was sad to note of what the Phil. Embassy did to me. I hope to know really the real payment of the affidavit of Invitation and the procedure whether we really need to come back even if we came earlier. How about those who are living very far from the center? We need to spend much for the fare well in fact, they can do the transaction fast.
