Peruvian Citizenship
I'm Peruvian by birth, but also, I'm an U.S. Citizen. I have been living in San Francisco practically my whole life. I have no business, or relationship with Peru. I would like to renounce my Peruvian Citizenship. Can I visit Peru if I renounce my Peruvian Citizenship?

Customer Service
I went to the Peruvian Consulate last week, and the service was courteous, and friendly. In fact, they answered my questions. I haven't visited Peru since 2002, when the country was still recovering from the extreme period of violence and economic bankruptcy. It seems that things are getting better now, and soon Peruvians will have the opportunity to visit Europe freely, and liberally. I wish all the best!

not bad at all
Workers at this office must be reading all this negative stuff about them, on my recent phone call someone actually answered the line, (put me on hold for a few seconds) then gave me all the answers for a power of attorney documentation I need. I say: give them a break, they are trying to improve the quality on customer service.

I had the worse experience thru this last five years in going to The Peruvian Embassy in San Francisco, worse customer service, worse people...I'm embarrased because I'm from Peru and this people represent our country in a bad way. Hopefully things can change in the future for good, and since we are in United States, people from public affairs can do something about it.
