proxy marriage
Hello Ms Ruth,

Sorry for bothering you, but I do not know where else to ask.

Me and my boyfriend want to get officially married.

The thing is that I have Russian citizenship and live in Russia. My future husband has Israel citizenship and lives in Israel. However he can not leave Israel to marry me. That is why we are considering a proxy marriage option.

We want our marriage to be recognized by both Russia and Israel so I can go to Israel to live with my husband.

Could you please suggest how we can get married and where? Should I go to Paraguay to get married or is it possible to get married in your Consulate in Tel Aviv?

Can you suggest the official organizations in Paraguay so I can ask the following questions:

1) what documents do we need in order to get married (proxy marriage in Paraguay or in Consulate)

2) what are the steps to register our marriage?

Please answer me via e-mail: khoroira@yandex.ru

Thank you in advance.

Looking forward to hearing from you.
