Corerct Contact
It is appalling if your office as a representative of teh gov't Of PNG cannot even have the correct contact information for all concerned parties.
How can you be a representative at the highest level yet be so slack in your PR? smarten up or catch the next early flight home!!!!

Proposed Joint Stamp Issue between Japan Post and Post PNG
The Chef of Staff
Pupua New Guinea Embassy,
JAPAN.

Dear Gentlemen,

JOINT STAMP ISSUE BETWEEN JAPAN POST AND POST PNG.

This e-mail serves to enquire with our embassy there if you could be able to introduce us (Post PNG Philatelic Bureau) to the Agent in charge of producing postage stamps there with Japan Post.

The Post PNG Philatelic Bureau is proposing for Japan Post and Post PNG to jointly issue a set of stamps on a subject familiar to both our countries.

With the tremendous effort your office is exerting towards improving bilateral ties, this proposed gesture, I am sure will no doubt further enhance your good work. With our postage stamps selling at all post offices in Japan, one can imagine, more and more Japanese citizens will come to know our culture and people through our beautiful stamps, for every postage stamp tells a story.

Among other subjects of common interest, we’ve opted for ‘Pottery’ instead. You will notice in my e-mail to the Japanese embassy here in Port Moresby, I categorically highlighted a certain make, found in the Aibom area of East Sepik, Papua New Guinea, which often been compared to the Jamon Neolithic pottery of Japan. I’m sure topic of such should go down well with not only citizens of Japan and Papua New Guinea, but the vast avid stamp collectors around the world.

As per e-mail below. I have yet to hear from the embassy of Japan here in POM, therefore, you prompt response in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Should you need to further discuss, you can contact me or the Chef Executive Officer Post PNG, Mr. Peter Maiden on (675) 305 3701 or email: peter.maiden@postpng.com.pg

Regards,
