I have try to talk through phone on today and and also before so many time, but faill to contact the concerned department.
I have submitted my Machine Readable/Digital Passport renewal documents on 13-7-2011 undersigned visited the Embassy of Pakistan, Riyadh vide Call No.184 and Token No.20201110551 (Copy attach). I am residing in Jubail-II which is about 900 to 1000 km away from Riyadh. Due this just I want to confirm my passport is ready so that I will come and collect the same. Kindly also confirm the timing of collection of the passport. I already mail and fax the same but still no response yet been received. My Fax No. is 03 3407466. and my email is qureshi1960@gmail.com
Last month I happened to visit Pakistan Embassey Riyadh (from Dammam) for renewal of my passports alongwith my wife and daughter..... we were luck enough to get 399 no. out of 400 hundered to be served that day. We waited tinring long time uptill 0400 pm to know that our passport can not be renewed today and we have to come back again.
With all due respect to Pakistan, there are estimated 1.2M Pakistanies in KSA compared to 2.0M Indians, 1.5M Bangalies, 1.0M Egeyptians and many many other nations. Have anyone ever listened the same what we face in Pakitan Embassey. Let me tell you if dont know. couple of year back one my indian coleague had his passport expired. He requested me for a lift upto the authorized brach of their embassey. He took only 10-15 mins to submit the passport as I was waiting back in car. Later in next week we drove back their to receive the passport. Again it did not take any longer than 5 mins and he was done.
Quite surprisingly, they being double than us manage so smoothly. I dont know about other nationalities but I never heared anything like Pakistani embassey. While I was going to Pakistani Embassey in Riyadh I saw Egeyptian Embassey on the way. their wasent any queue or people waiting outside or anything like Pakistani Embassey.
Being in Saudi Arabia, we are one of largest pakistani community outside Pakistan. We send a big foreign exchange to Pakistan. And this is what Pakistan is doing to facilitate us.
This is very unfortunate and very dissappointing. I would urge all Pakistani Expats, living in KSA should raise this sound loud enough to reach our govt or atleast media's attention.
You might have seen lots of Television channels for UK/USA. They are alway running programs for them. They talk about their problems etc. But why is this discrimination with Expat in middle east. I strongly urge that all Pakistanies living in middle east should raise their voice whereever they can.....
