Request renewal information
Dear Bros & Sisters..

My passport is expiring on 27th of this month.
I already submit my renewal request on 4th of this month (urgent) which would be delivered on 4th May Approx.
Problem is that I have to go back to pakistan for new KSA visa. Now what I believe embassy can increase my Visa up to 6 Months. Afterwards if i travel and get medical etc. it would be less than 6 months.

CAN I REQUEST FOR INCEASE OF ANOTHER 6 MONTHS OR NOT IN THAT SCENARIO.

Please guide me.

Information related to passport
I visited Pakistani embassy today (Riyadh) for my passport renewal as it was expiring in Sept 2013. I got the following information, sharing it with people so that it can be helpful for all:

Urgent passport new/renewals are taking up to 2 months approx. while ordinary (normal) applications are taking 4 months approx.

As far as travelling is concerned on passports that are expiring soon: Yes, you can travel just that you might not get visa as most countries have requirement of minimum 6 months valid passport to get visa. If you have visa or would like to travel, you may continue to do so. Similarly, brothers with passport cases that are still stuck can visit Pakistani embassy and they will extend their current passports to 3-6 months by hand, that will legally allow them to continue with their travel plans.

Hope it helps!

Assalamualykum warah matullah!

P.S. The above information was collected from Pakistani embassy officers during my passport process, and may vary from case to case
