I have a foreign national friend from Pakistan who has been in South Africa for twenty years now.
He is married with a South African Citizen with two children (his own) for ten years and is being detained at Lindela deportation center (Krugersdorp).
He was initially granted asylum when he first came to South Africa but failed to have it extended.
Is there anything that we can do to apply for his residency and or to avoid his deportation?
