3,000 On Visit Visas Apply For ‘Transfer’
KUWAIT CITY, Sept 19: Around 3,000 expatriates, who entered Kuwait on visit visas, have applied for transfer to work permits, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources. Sources confirmed the fruitful cooperation between the ministries of Interior, Social Affairs and Labor greatly contributed to the approval of the proposed transfer of visit visas to work permits. Sources said the conditions for visit visa to work permit transfer are as follows: applicants must have a university degree; while their clear criminal record certificates should be issued by their countries of origin to be verified by the Kuwaiti official bodies there.
