Pakistani visa issuance
Pakistani visas have been in the news again recently. Is there any chance that the ban on their issuance will be lifted?
Name withheld
Answer: The news of the Pakistani visas was linked to the visit to Kuwait of the Pakistani Prime Minister. In an interview with the Arab Times, the Pakistani premier had discussed the ban on the issuance of such visas with HH the Amir of Kuwait and also the Kuwaiti prime minister. He said he was ‘hopeful’ of a solution to the problem being found. That’s all the news we have so far because the local authorities have not commented on the issue.
