Great Fun
It is great fun to see the photo and read the bravado of Kim having scaled the highest mountain top of DPRK at the hight of some 2700 m. Here he is standing after hours of climbing and challenges, in a perfect suit and coat, fat and shining. It is one of the best comedy scenes I have seen in years. No one believes that he has climbed up the top. And I guess the great bravado is that the 50 year old Soviet helicopter made it all the way to the to top.

Equally one can only laugh at the other progaganda stories in recent days, that Kim Jong Un could drive a car at the age of three, and made 11 hole-in-one on his first golf round. Apart from the obvious lies, one could ask what significance such deeds would have for the competence in leading a country and develop an economy?

None, of course. DPRK does not even export golf pegs. And definitely no cars. Have you heard of any successful cars or any other successful products on the world market lately?

No, and one should just laugh at this corrupt and backward land, if her population was not suffering so much. And if not so many naive westerners still believed that this is somehow some model.

It is not. It is a corrupt communist monarchy that produces nothing but starvation and despair and is threatening its neighbours. The sooner it will go the better.

i am getting conflicting information ---- on the lenght of the stays for canadian in north korea-

some sites say a month and other say 6 months with out a visa but 50 dollars to enter---and then there is the student visa--

i am thinking i want to go to north korea (the most isolated country on the planet and just crawl in to a hole and grow old there------ can some one tell me what is what??
