North Korea and the US
Obviously, I am not an expert in Korean history or relations, but we need to see the entire picture in a larger context. I lived in Daegu, South Korea for 3.5 years, and traveled to Pyongyang for a visit in 2011. I found the Korean people, both North and South, to be friendly, warm, and truly desirous of the unification of their country. I feel our policies over the past 60 years have hindered this possibility and made matters worse. Try to see things from their perspective. The life of the average Korean was harsh and brutal long before the Korean war. The rich owned most of the land, and the masses of poor lived a harsh life. Korea was annexed (with the tacit approval of the United States government) by Japan in 1905, and lived under brutal suppression of the Japanese until the end of WWII. Finally facing freedom, and possible rule of their own country, the UNITED STATES and the SOVIET UNION used Korea as their Cold War pawns, dividing the country it half (at a place never done in their history) and set up puppet governments for their own ends. During the Korean War, we bombed and napalmed the civilian population of North Korea and razed their cities to rubble. We killed millions of Koreans, and displaced millions more. 250 TONS DAILY of napalm were rained on the Korean people. We bombed the dikes in North Korea, causing massive flooding, starvation and famine. Say what you will about the Kim family, and I am no fan, but he was a respected anti-Japanese fighter who wanted nothing more than a Korea ruled by Koreans, and a population that could own their own land and be free from the feudalism of past generations. The US needs to negotiate in good faith with the DPRK, and help bring them into the family of nations. We need to renounce regime change, help them (along with the ROK, Japan and China) to develop their economy, and reduce the tensions on the Korean peninsula to help those 24 million people have a healthy and prosperous life. It happened in South Korea, and it can happen in the North as well, even with their form of government.

FAMILY REUNIONS
I THINK IT IS REALLY C R U E L OF NORTH KOREA FOR HAVING SUSPENDED FAMILY VISITS. Give those old people the right to see their loved ones on both sides before they die. North Korea is using this as another weapon to get what it wants from other countries. This is really a shame!

Denuclearisation
Its time to learn from past mistakes with North Korea. Where diplomacy has obviously not worked harsh measures are needed.

Tell them that their Juche is not working and has never worked, because they are 50yrs behind the rest of the world. Stop all aid to the country and let it implode from within.

The Kim family have used and abused these people as their own slaves for 60 yrs,it's disgraceful.

Show them the videos on youtube, let them know that we know about the gulags and that the UN needs to inspect them.

Sanctity of Life!
North Korea should demand US nuclear disarmament in
space. It is the US that committed TREASON against
humanity since 1941 arming 100 nations with nuclear BOMBS!!! Atoms for Peace armed 60 nations including
Iran & Iraq. The US helped Russia build their nuclear bombs & sold them super-computers in 1998 so they could build smaller bombs. Russia passed this
technology to Iran & to China, & China helped YOU.
Sue the US in the World Court to STOP arming the nations with nuclear power. The "waste" from these
"peaceful" plants produces material for BOMBS. Clinton gave a Russian nuclear warhead blueprint for
a bomb named Operation Merlin to Iran around 1998.
Report the Americans who helped build YOUR bombs!!1

To the Leader of North Korea; Do not play around with the use of nuclear war threats. In 1973 I helped
upload nuclear weapons-I lost count. For the United States Air Force-Strategic Air Command. I advise you
to not do the same thing that the Nation of Argentina
did pertaining to the Fackland Island-pardon if misspelled-but you get my drift.

My galant and formidable young friend. We have been foes for many yrs too long.your formidable defenses have been sturdy and well placed. The gallantry of your stout citizens has no second on the globe. The peoples republic and red army cower at your might. But only in reunification with the south and retraction of arms will the korean people reach their till potential. So as we live in peace and harmony reaching for galactic unknowns our will is to encorporate your power as we become one globe we look to one korea.
