My husband and his mom have unable to get back to the states due to thieves at the airport demnading money for things that already been paid for like the ticket the passport, the latest one is a faulty plane and he had to come up with $1200 to fly on a private plane to come home to Austin Texas. name change
Hello, I am currently living in the state, got married and changed names on all my documents, except my Nigerian passport as I have been told I have to go to Nigeria to change the name on my passport. I'm wondering why that is because shouldnt the embassy be representing our Country? Wonder who makes all these decisions?

passport renewal by mail
The Federal Government of Nigeria should be able to renew passport for Nigerians who are resident abroad by mail. Whatever abuse that can impede that option should be removed with the aid of advanced technology. Please consider it seriously. You can borrow a leaf from countries doing it presently. Thank you and God bless.

Kidnapped Girls
I see you guys actually believe everything you hear in the media.Have you thought about the cost of feeding, sanitation and accommodating 300 some girls in the north of Nigeria? i don't suppose they will be surviving on fresh air and water. Wise up people, its called "Politics", an oxfam jigsaw to those who know nothing on how nations conquer.lets wait on the media for a release day then shall we ,or perhaps in a country like Nigeria 300 some girls can be kidnapped indefinitely..who knows.
