It is really unfortunate to allow these characters to continue in this kind of business. For one it destroys honest international businesses done across borders. It destroys international commerce worldwide if these people are left unchecked. I do not need to reproduce some of the letters I personally received here on this forum as it is exactly the same in content and style with several others I've read on this forum. While my experience was a little different was that my own letter came while I was concluding transaction with a genuine investor into the Nigerian economy who personally held a meeting with me outside the country and already had a time-table to come and invest in the Nigeria Mining Industry. The catch here is that if I had not met the clean gentleman one on one with daylight proof of his past achievements and his seriousness to invest his funds and expertise in the Nigerian economy, I would have grouped all of them together and a honest investor would have gone elsewhere, an investment that runs into billions. That is why I said its time for this nonsense to stop.
I got the same mail yesterday
I got a phn call from my associate in lagos asking me to go check out a company called bukuru mining company and get the international exportation control code number for iron ore from one 1ssah the managing director, i indeed went there only to find out the adress was vague, i discused with some persons who claimed to be staff, all they wanted was how to scam me, i got beer and food for them and escaped, i went to customs and was tols that all you need to export fron nigeria is your export promotion council certificate and HS code, brethren these ate scarmers i have run a check on them personally
Similar letter was sent to me requesting me to be their Nigerian Representative for five years purchase of pure iron ore from a company called Bukuru Mining Company in Jos. I was told to contact Mr. Sule Isah in Jos with telephone no. 0818315667. Also they want me to liaise with Mr. Sule for procurement of an INTERNATIONAL EXPORTATION CONTROL CODE NUMBER IN FAVOR OF FAISEI CORPORATION IN JAPAN to enable them secure visa with the Nigerian Embassy in Japan. Thanks for the above information i discovered when i tried to contact the Nigerian Embassy in Japan for Verification.
I also recieved a message similar to this as I am planning to meet them in a couple of days, I will be will make sure that their people will pay the price for trying to scam me. I will do a horrible thing to their people or set them up with the law enforcement .
