Comments on this High Commission

A VERY SATISFIED NIGERIAN

EXCELLENT, VERY EXCELLENT SERVICE.
I was at the Nigerian High Commission on the 13th of October, and a certain Lady from the Nigerian Immigration Service spoke to us about the E-passport, what really suprised me was when she told us that we will collect our Passports the same day considering most of us were coming from a far distance. I did the picture inside their office, in a very friendly atmosphere between herself and her colleague Tony. About forty minutes later, i got my passport. I will like to thank the High Commissioner for asking Immigration to send their officers to Canada because there is a GREAT CHANGE and a lot of my friends who have been there can attest to that.
GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

nigerian fraudsters
I cannot believe what my countrymen are doing here in Canada and the USA. Stealing hard earned money from hard working people who are incredibly gullible. I want all who disgrace us as Nigerians peoples to take cyanide now and put the misery to end.

Nija high commission a failure
I was there yesterday for ePassport. A certain Elizabeth from immigrations posted there as lead for the epassport came out to address us after our initial 2 hour wait. We had not heard anything about what was going on. We were all sitting down apart from a lady who was angry 'cause they did not attend to her the whole of last Friday. Then the Elizabeth lady came and introduced herself. She started threatening us! She was going to stop any epassport process and go look for a house. She was only going to handle 15 persons instead of the 60 she said they used to handle in a day. She was doing us a favor in even handling the 15. I could not make out why we were being threatened, insulted as no one from that group had met her or said anything to her to warrant her outburst. Yes, she did mention that she had problems with a particular lady on the Friday, did that warrant what she did to us? Well, I made a mental note to remember to visit the high commission anytime I start becoming sick in the head and toy with the idea of permanently returning to Nigeria. A day at the high commission will surely cure me of my sickness in ever thinking of going back to Nigeria fully. That place is worse than the streets of Nija!

Nigerian Embassy in Ottawa is useless and should be dissolved
This embassy is out of it, haven't experienced a lot of stress from them. I got this page and a few other sites where people have complained about them
http://naijan.com/nigerian-embassy-in-ottawa-worst-in-history/

A friend of mine who was planning to travel home last year got the mess of her life there. They never respond to mails, never pick calls or anything.

If this embassy is not reviewed, Nigeria is set up for a big disaster
What a disgrace

Passport Renewal
The earlier application in March 2011, was returned with an excuse that the machine was out of order.
Up to this moment, no information is available about the status of the machine.
Why is this embassy working like this?
