Agony of an indian student
This is Swami from India. I was searching for the PhD opportunity in the Philippines, in the month of June 2016 one of my friend Pavitor, who stays in ILOILO Introduced a girl (Ms Sugar) who do admissions illegally; by saying that she runs an Educational Consultancy, at that time we don’t know that she do the admissions illegally, since my friend said that she brings students to study in Philippines, so I trusted her.

She told me that I need to pay the $500 to process the admission. I have sent $500 to her (please find the attached Receipt). Once I sent the money things have changed suddenly, she never replies me, she was so rude, My friend and me keep on asked for admission then she told me that I need to submit my Original master’s degree certificate, but my convocation not been done at that time, so I only had Provisional certificate, which is enough to get admission. She told me that until I submit my original master’s certificate my admission won’t happen. I asked universities contact details to talk about my Master’s degree certificate, but she refused to give the contact details and even my past university sent an official letter to her saying that until convocation (which is in October 2016) my provisional certificate is valid. She didn’t accept what they have said. She told me that in October 2016 once I get the original certificate, she completes my admission. I waited until October and sent my Original master’s degree certificate. But there was no clue of admission, she run away with my money. I didn’t get any reply until now. I don’t know where she leaves now. As far my friend knows these are the details I got about her:

Her Name: Ms Sugar Calliope Meg
Lives in: ILOILO city, Philippines
Originally from: Nigeria
Studied at: University of San Augustin, ILOILO city
Course: AB Mass communication
