Having evaluated your submitted application, your services in your CV were found eligible for the requirements of the ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION. You are hereby this Contract Letter, Employed to serve as an EMPLOYEE. For a period of renewable of 2 years which you will be posted to another region. Details of contract are included here below.

POSITION DESIGNATION: ACCOUNTANT

CONTRACT DATE: 8th FEBRUARY 2011.

STARTING DATE: 15th MARCHY 2011.

REGION POSTED: ABUJA-NIGERIA.

Compensation and Benefits: Payment of $14,750,00 per month to be paid (Fourteen Thousand Seven hundred and Fifty us Dollars.)every 30th days of the month.And $725 Weekly either by cash or by Check or transferred to a Local or Foreign Account designated by you.

Health insurance: ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION agrees to pay ($500.) of the Nanny’s health insurance, provided by (MEDICOM HEALTH INSURANCE COMPANY, NIGERIA).

Paid vacation: 4 week(s) per year. Employee will give ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION 1-week notice of any upcoming vacations. Employee shall be given bonus vacation pay of $700.

Accommodation: Residence shall be in ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION Housing Estate,Three Bedroom Flat, with Sitting Room and Sit Out. Fixed Land Line, Internet Ready Computer and Vehicle for Mobility would be provided.

Extras: (Gym membership, eye exam fee, dental cleanings, medical care.) Schedule:

Employee will work 30 hours a week. Employee shall have Saturdays and Sundays Off.

Employee work hours are between 730a.m. and 2p.m. from (Monday - Friday)

Days off: (Saturday and Sunday)

Duties:

1.To work & stimulate the employees both mentally & physically, to ensure their intellectual, physical & social development.

2.Find out about activities in the local area. Ensure that the employee get regular knoweldge and attention.

3. Plan & undertake activities on a one to one basis & with Employee. Develop speech, reading, numbers, and letters, and colors, social & practical skills.

TRANSPORTATION:

Use of car to transport Employee or Vehicle may be used for personal Transportation.


EMERGENCIES:

If a medical emergency arises, the Employee should contact the
ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION Health center immediately.

Reviews, Raises, and Grievance Procedures:

The ECOWAS/ CEDEAO COMMISSION agrees to review the Employee every 6 months.

If Employee has a grievance, she/he can (list appropriate measure here).

Contract can be changed or amended if both parties agree: yes__/no.

Notice of Termination:

Employees must give 2 weeks notice of termination in writing.
ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION must give Employee 4 weeks notice if Employee’s services will no longer be required.

Should the ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION terminate the agreement, ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION agrees to pay all wages up to and including Employee’s last day of work.

Please note that ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION will be paying for your Flight Ticket and also File a Visa Application on your behalf and you will only pay for your Resident/Work Permit Papers from the above Agency as the policy of the Nigeria Immigration Services and ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION Demands and shall be dully
reimbursed any expenses incurred during the procession along with your first month upfront salary and traveling allowances.

ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION will be responsible for your Nigeria Airways Flight Ticket and also file a Visa Application on your behalf and will be responsible for all expenses as regards to it and you will be responsible for all the expenses regarding your Resident/Work Permit Papers.

All Employee’s will only be responsible to pay for all expenses regarding the procurement of His/Her Resident/Work Permit papers from the above mentioned Agency inconsonance/ accordance with the Policy and regulations of the Nigeria Immigration Laws.

After Employees has SECURED/OBTAINED his/her Work Permit papers from the agency, ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION will pay Employee the first Month upfront salary prior to his/her coming to enable Employee to be well prepared before boarding the flight to Nigeria to resume his/her duty with the ECOWAS/CEDEAO COMMISSION in Nigeria.

Craig Johnson (Project Manager) and the offer is good and very deceiving as a Expatriate Electrical Engineer in ELF PETROLEUM NIGERIA LIMITED (EPNL) without any technical inerviews which is doubtful. i don't know how they were able to get my email add but i believe this is a scam. they have already emailed me twice. better warn people so that they won't fall prey to these ads.
