Residency/STR visa requirements
Sir,I have just received this email for the processing of my residency/str visa for Nigeria.May I know if this is one of the requirements. Can I get this affidavit here in the Nigerian embassy in Manila?
Attention : Mr. Ronnie Lim,
I acknowledge receipt of your signed appointment letter and completed application form and will proceed with processing your visa once you send your affidavit of good conduct.
Some expatriate workers has been linked to sponsoring terrorist organisations in Nigeria hence the Nigerian Immigration service has deployed a new requirement for all expatriate staff; Affidavit of good conduct, before permit can be granted.
This Affidavit must be obtained in a federal high court here and it will cost 500 USD to obtain. S.P.D.C has paid for your visa and resident permit but you have to obtain you affidavit yourself as it is a personal document.
I will really appreciate it if you can clarify this.
