Unjustified delay in Madrid en route Lisbon
I am a Nigerian award winner representing Africa at the 38th International congress of Systemic Linguists holding at University of Lisbon and travelling down was very rough no thanks to the spanish police who made this trip a frustrating one. After 7 hours delay with apparently no justifiable reasons and having insisted on calling to verify my papers- and I had all relevant papers-FROM my sponsors, represented by the convener-as if the Portuguese Embassy Abuja that offered the visa was indicted-,they let me go with no apologies or even offer of food.Yet I was on only on transit and probably would not have flown Iberia but for the advise of the same Embassy.I hope this is not the frequent attitude shown Nigerians especially by the Spanish and others?
