I have recently sent this mail to the Nigerian high commission after several calls to them have been handled with levity and still did not receive any cross-communication.It does appear the commission is not responsive to the plight of Nigerians living in Malaysia (see below).
Acting High Commissioner,
My brother (Ibuchukwu Mattew Egbejimba) is a Nigerian citizen, and has a valid/ current student visa for Malaysia. He left the shores of Nigeria in October for Westminster international college in Kuala Lumpur to do a degree. All attempts to contact him in recent times have been fruitless. I believe that he must be in some kind of trouble over there. I have been unable to contact him for some time now, since phone calls to him are never picked. I basically would like a welfare check carried out by the Nigerian Consulate. As I am currently in Nigeria, and have not heard from, or been able to contact him. I would hope that you could get back to me on this matter using this email or call me on +234 8035210773 or +234 8023549166.
