VISA REQUIREMENT
My name is Jemima Williams, from Nigeria, and my fiance' is a Jamaican, who intends to come to Nigeria for us to formalise and conclude our marriage rites. But one of the conditions given to him to obtain a Nigerian visa at the Nigerian embbassy in Jamaica was to get a "RETURN TICKET" before they can grant him a visa. And I think, dat clause should be reconsidered, cos there's no direct flight from Jamaica to Nigeria. He needs either a U.S or U.K (B1,B2) Visa. For instance, If he books for the return ticket (as a prerequisite to obtaining the Nigerian visa in Jamaica, and gets to either the U.S or U.K EMBASSY, and is denied visa there, what happens to his already purchased flight airticket? So, I suggest, that condition of going to the Nigerian embassy in Jamaica with a return ticket, as a prerequisite to obtaining a VISA, should be revisited and reconsidered. If there is a direct flight from Kingston-Jamaica to Nigeria, and this conditon is given, then it's okay, and well thought-out. So then, NIGERIA HIGH COMMISSION, PLEASE, RECONSIDER THIS POINT, I PLEAD WITH YOU. GOD BLESS NIGERIA. THANK YOU.
