laughing matter
I'm an Irish national but a Nigerian citizen, lost my Nigerian passport last time I visited home but could'nt apply for another one at home because I was comming back to Ireland the same day. Now I do want to visit home and unable to get hold of this ugly staff at Nigerian Embassy to tell me at least how to go about getting another Nigerian passport. I was at the embassy once back in 2000 and never knew I'll visit that place again to see those ugly and ill spoken, un-educated, uncivilised, desperate, greedy idiots that you can't present anywhere even though we are still been represented abroad by them. They are the reason why we all ran away from home and they are over here again to torment us with that piece of dirty looking book they call Nigerian passport(no offence to my fellow innocent Nigerian citizens) but that ugly looking green book does nothing for us but frustrate us. So how do I get hold of those Aboki's at the Embassy????????

it is quite surprising that the greatest and most populous black nation in the planet website is not functioning. the truth is that the webmaster has not been paid by the embassy authourities. i know so. can someone tell if there is actually a consular at the embassy. jonathan needs to know about this.

concerned nigerian.

what a disgrace
nigeria government is a disgrace. we are in the 21st century and nigerian embassy cannot opertae a common website for its citizens, when irish people treat us bad we always complain oh it is because i am in your country, but the truth is if our country was that perfect maybe many of us will go back home.

Nigerian Embassy in Dublin
Is there actually a Nigerian consulate in Dublin??
If there is then it is a complete joke - as someone has noted earlier there is no response to a telephone enquiry other than a curt "keep watching the website"!!
To anyone who is reading or listening - the website is DOWN, and has been down for over a week now.
Next stop - Department of Foreign Affairs

I eventually paid the passport fee with someone else's visa card after I was waiting more than a week, despite mailing and calling the company and yet no response, for my mbna credit card to be verified. No site available to book for appointment and so I call the embassy and was rudely told by the secretary to keep checking the web until site is back.

Now the problem is I have an exam in Portugal in May, I need at least 3 weeks to apply for visa and my embassy, who is here to make things easy for me, might actually hinder me.

I suggest we all bombard Jonathan's face book with these complaints. Let us be proactive and not just suck, make some noise to anyone that'll listen.
