Marriage
Greetings. My Fiancé and I are in Urumqi.
We have finally decided on a date, however the officials here advise that we require a form available from the NZ embassy in either Guangzhou , Shanghai or Beijing .

We will be in Guangzhou visiting family on the 3rd and 4/11/16.

Are we able to acquire this for or will we require an appointment?

If you could return email to Portrush@xtra.co.nz it would be most appreciated .

Regards.

Is there any NZ visa interviewing office in Shenzhen?
Dear Sir/Madam

My girlfriend whom I met on the internet has submitted an application for a visitor visa to NZ through her travel agent. I am a bit cautious on this because of too many scammers around, so I would like to know if there's a NZ embassy or consulate (whatever) office in Shenzhen that will interview applicants before they can approve the visa? She's using me as a reference. Today after she went for the interview she informed me that they couldn't issue her visa due to insufficient funds in her bank account. Please comment.
Your reply to private2204@gmail.com is much appreciated.
Thanks.

my experience renewing passport in Shenzhen
I had to renew in Nov 2014, submitted online application to Wellington NZ on a Monday morning, and had passport in my hand in Shenzhen on Thursday afternoon. Very impressed. Had to continue carrying my cancelled passport that had my old visa in it to exit and enter China 1 more time, but this wasn't a problem at border.

I wouldn't rely upon the processing and courier always being this quick, and I have a friend who lost passport in China and took 8 days to receive just an emergency travel doc, but well done to the Department on this occasion.
