Expedited renewal of passport
I am a Dutch citizen and want to visit India in February/March 2016. Unfortunately, I found out that my Dutch passport expires in July. Is it possible for me to come to the consulate as soon as possible and get an expedited renewal of my passport? It will take 1-2 weeks to get the India visa, so if I can get a new passport before February 10, that would be great!

To New Jersey Mom
From the age of 4, children resident in the Netherlands can attend public schools. Lessons are taught in Dutch at the primary level, but teachers are generally fluent in English and therefore can help your children with special adaptation needs, as well as communicate with you about their progress.

Many primary schools have a program called voorschool where students as young as two-and-a-half can begin adapting to the educational system. These are particularly useful for Dutch language adaptation.

You will find that your children, once in school, will adapt to Dutch within a matter of months.

Dear Consulate -

My husband is interviewing for a job in Amsterdam. We are all American citizens, who speak English. What options do we have in terms of schooling for our young children ages 3 and 5? We are eager to expose them to a second language, but are not able to send to an expensive private international school. Any information or links would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
Hans
