If this is all legal like some and very few comments say why do they confiscate passports from the imported teachers. I had a child at the school a few years ago and i removed my child because of the wrong doings at the school besidess the fact that the indian teachers spanking of the kids. When i querried the credentials i never received or saw them. But then again this seems to be the procedure followed by most indian employers in mozambique that contract foreigners and remove their passports at their arrival besides keeping them indoors and not allowing them visitation or access to the outside world. And as the ministry of labour is very corrupted the exchange of funds to ensure work permits is very common in cases like this. The owners of the school practice this.
People are scared to speak as they have been treatned but what can we expect on a country with such corrupted officials. The school should be investigated and license suspended, and if found guilty they should face the law and be permanently evicted from the country.

Modern day slavery
Teachers when applying for jobs are well treated. Indian teachers are treated well but the other foreign teachers are treated like slaves. They passports are removed at arrival, they are not allowed to go out on outings and are kept indoors 24/7. If they attempt to disobey they are heavelly fined and silenced. Slavery like this shouldnt be allowed

i have personally worked for young gemynds for 7 yrs and never faced any problems with the management nor the working hours and conditions,I personally feel the other school for whom young gemynds have become a threat is trying these kind of games and moreover if this was true what is mentioned why write false names. Please be bold enough and write ur true names.this proves how much reliable sources u can be ,

why???
I wonder why there are negative comments about the young gemynds school.... I am actually planning to apply for a teaching position there... if these comments are to be considered.... I should forget everything about my plans of applying.... I am afraid that some bad things may happen to me.... South Africa is a far place....
