not sensible
After visiting and calling the Mozambique embassy here in Addis Ababa for one week and trying to pick up brochures about Mozambique, the receptionist finally answered the telephone today. She transferred me to the counselor, but he did not answer the telephone. I called back and the receptionist told me that she was going directly to the counselor regarding my call. I talked to the counselor and asked if he could have the brochures ready for me to pick up, in which he agreed to do.

After about an hour later, I arrived at the embassy, but the brochures were not ready. Also, the counselor ignored me while he served other customers whom had come in after me. I questioned him about this. He, then, told me that someone was going to give me brochures and talk to me, although I had only called and come to receive brochures. Shortly afterwards, the counselor gave me a Facts about Mozambique brochure and told me that he and this “someone” had to go to an emergency meeting. He told me to wait for them to come back and that this someone was going to give me more brochures after they returned. I asked the counselor for the name of the counselors’ supervisor. He told me Tito. I figured out this was the someone he had kept referring to.

I went to Tito about all of the bad service I had received. He, first, said that the embassy had not answered the telephone for a week because of work that was being done on a building next to the embassy. Then, Tito told me that the counselor never told him that I came to pick up brochures. To expedite matters, I simply asked him if he had any other brochures to give me. He, strangely, refused to answer me.

After I left the embassy, I ironically saw a friend of mine who told me about different people, including himself, whom had received bad services at the embassy. While I cannot speak for this, the services I received did not seem sensible and it was unprofessional.

Recently, I watched the program from BBC about your lovely country. I am looking to visit and see opportunities as well as mutual benefits with the people of Mozambique. Could you please send me reliable information by email. Do one needs a visa from Canada. Longingly waiting for your response.
