A MOROCCAN NEEDING HELP!!!!
Good Day to you.



I have a problem, a big problem – I have a friend a Moroccon who is stuck at Accra Airport – he was contracted by a South African company to do work for them in Ghana, they let him come to Ghana, without providing money for him to live. He has just completed a job for them in Kumasi, where he had to borrow money from the sub-contractor to pay the hotel.



A promise was made that there would be money in Accra – well a credit card waiting for him to access funds, there was nothing – he asked his transport to drop him at the airport – as he knew he would be safe there, and could wait for the next flight to Morocco, now he only can fly out on Friday morning – and is stuck at the airport, with no money and no food. What do we do here?



It seems to be the case of just bad business practice from the employer side, taking in good faith the employment from this company but they are not doing what is needed to provide safety and shelter two basic human requirements.



I have emailed and sms’d the owner of the company. I know Mr Bakkali has also earlier tonight but nothing forth coming.



Is there any possible way to assist him. I have no idea where at Accra airport he is….his Mobile NO in Accra is: +233547013283 – please advise if it is possible to assist this citizen of your country.



Also, I would advise that you give him assistance in obtaining all monies due to him by the company he worked for, this is inhumane and borders on human rights enfringement. Although I think it is purely through lack of understanding of what is required.
