Requirements for bringing child under 18 to Mexico - not parents
Dear Sir/Madam,

My family is vacationing in Mexico between Feb 26 and March 5, 2013. We will be bringing a friend of my daughter's with us who is 17 years of age. We have a signed and notorized letter of consent from her parents for the trip. We recently heard that there is now a new requirement to have the consulate "legalize" the documents. Can you clarify this? If there are new requirements, what is the process.

Thank you
Chris

FM3 in Puerto Vallarta
I own a home in Puerto Vallarta and want to apply for an FM3. What is the procedure, do I need an appointment at the consulate before I re-enter Mexico and who do I call for the appointment?

Detained Marine in Mexico
The detention of United States Marine Corpsman Jon Hammar is beyond repulsive. For this man to be chained to his bed in a Mexican (hell hole) jail is a travesty of justice. Is Mexico's perception of dignity this distorted. There seems to be a real problem with human rights atrocities in your country and the detention of this innocent man isn't making things look any better. Right now I have no interest in vacation or business in Mexico due to the possibility of this kind of complexity.

Is Travel Visa necessary?
I have an international student from Taiwan staying with our family. We are planning a one week trip to Mexico in February 2013 and he would like to come with us. He has a passport and a student visa for Canada. Does he need to get a multiple entry visa as well?
Thank You
Sharon
