It's been about 15 years since I got my Mexican passport at the Mexican consulate in San Diego, Ca. I have gotten married and have a different last name ,When I was there they kept my birth certificate. I need to renew . What would the next step be? Thank you I appreciate the input.

Telephone message
I called the mexican consulate San Diego office 619 231 8414 regarding visa requirement for an Austrian citizen traveling to Mexico via cruise ship. I do not speak spanish. My question is why is there no selection for english instruction in your voice mail? The consular office is located in San Diego and travellers are most likely non-spanish speakers. Please accomodate the non-spanish speakers in your service.

Worthless Bureaucracy
You might think this Consulate's office, where probably thousands of Americans will now need to go to apply for residency visas for Mexico, could either post what is required to be submitted with the application, or respond to questions sent in via this web site, or answer their telephones, or return calls. But NO - they don't seem to do a damned thing.

Still waiting.
Here we are in the middle of August and still no response from the representative for the Mexican Consul in Hawaii, I'm trying to get some information on the updating a Mexican passport locally, can't afford to fly to San Diego, CA. for a couple of days just to do this. Please, if anyone knows any info on the next time the Consulate will be out in the Hawaiian Islands please reply.
Aloha, L. Vasquez.
