repatriation of human remains to mexico for families in nc
our company has been assisting families of deceased hispanics for over 30 years. we have now for the past 3 years had a problem with the consulate in that they force their families to use a certain funeral home, even when the families have other wishes. They are interfeering with our company's ability to do business in NC,and causing additional grief for the families concerned. They tell the families if they want financial assistance from the consulate, they have to use another funeral home. I don't understand why the families are not given the opportunity to choose a funeral home of their own choice. Our prices and services are below the other funeral home.I have talked with the proteccion dept. and they deny this, but families say they still operate in this manner. what do you do to eliminate this problem and allow families to make their own decisions?

Victim of serious offense needs help.
Hello:
My name is L. Jimenez I am a victim witness legal assistant in the Durham County District Attorney's Office. I need to speak with somebody in reference to a mexican victim that needs help. Me has been in the hospital for the past 4 months because of the injuries he sustained. The hospital is getting everything ready send him back to Mexico soon. I truly believe that by doing this to him he would be a victim of the circumstances. Please let me know how to contact you as soon as possible to give you more information. Thank you so much.!
