Good Day, my father was born in Mauritius and moved to South Africa in his Twentys he still holds a Mauritius passport. I was wanting to know if it is possiable, and the procedure to apply for a passport/ancestral visa, and will my wife and two boys 4 & 3 yrs old be able to as well??
I lost my British passport when Mauritius became independant. At the time i was stateless. My husband was born there with a Mauritian ID and passport. My father and all his family were born there too. Can I not get a Mauritian passort and Id here from the Embassy here in Pretoria?

My daughter and her husband live and work in Mauritius. They just had a baby whom they registered as a new birth in Mauritius. They want to visit us in December but there is not enough time for them to obtain a South African ID and passport to allow the baby back into Mauritius. Is there a way that you can help us?
