Arrogant man!
Bad experience with this man!

I called, he answered. I explained to him that I lost my passport. He asked me where it was, I told him in my handbacg. He did advise me to send him and email so he can explain to me the steps for the application of a new passport. However, he asserted lecturing me about having respect for my passport, asking how can I lose my passport, if I understand the importance of this document. Very arrogant, insulting man!

1. He has no idea why my passport was in my handbag
2. You are not the police, are you? Who the hell are you to be interrogating me anyway?
3. I don't care how much you love Mauritius, I don't care if you are doing it for free in your spare time, you are nothing Sir, NOTHING! So, stop getting people to call you an email you, because you and I know that you are NOTHING but an arrogant Non-Mauritian man! Yes, he is not even Mauritian, this is why he is that arrogant!

Response to La Mauricienne
The position of Honorary Consul is a voluntary one. I am not paid anything to perform this role but simply do it because I love Mauritius and am happy to do what I can to promote links between Mauritius and Australia. I have a full time job and my duties as Honorary Consul are done in my free time. However, you can always reach me on my mobile number, shown above. I do hope I can assist you in the future. Best Regards, Ian Whitaker

Mauritian Embassy in Australia....A SICK JOKE!!!
Yes, it is a sick Joke!!! I would very much like to know what the embassy's opening hours are?? I guess it's NEVER!!! I wonder what all the fat cats, using our poor Mauritian tax payers' money, are up to in Canberra??? I understand that you've all got the job through your political connections and backing...but sometimes you could at least make an effort to work for your pay check!!! Lazy Bastards!!!!
