Comments on this Embassy
Are there any laws / regulations in Italy that hotels, apartments for tourists, bed and breakfast premises and all sort of accommodation for tourists are obliged to have a responsible person during the night and if there should be an emergency telephone number available for anything that might crop up? It would be also interesting to know if there are any law/regulations in this regards made by the European Union.
Thanking you

Should you decide to pass by Rome on business, and in need of a place that can listen and advise, turn elsewhere.
More help is found with a common taxi driver. Consular and staff are lazy, disinterested and disorganised.
You will find nothing but delays and complications.
Embarrassment to Malta.
Last May, I took my wife and three children for a holiday to celebrate my wife and one of my children's birthday. We flew to Bologna on Ryanair on the then new route and rented a car which we picked up from Bologna airport. We spent a lovely four days in the Cesenatico area, including going to Mirabilandia, and on our last day, we decided to spend a few hours in the city of Bologna before catching our flight back to Malta. Imagine my surprise when a few weeks ago, we received three seperate tickets for apparently passing through some roads we were not supposed to. The amount was deducted by the Hertz Car Hire agency from my son's credit card and this has left us very disappointed as we were not aware that we were doing anything wrong when driving for the first time through the lovely city of Bologna. Is it possible for your Embassy staff to help us in this matter. Thanks.
Good morning, my daughter will be travelling to Rome next week and so we kindly ask you to locate the embassy on map in case she needs to find you. Thank you Therisa
