Malta is part of the Schengen area, so your visa is sufficient.
One thing to be careful of: If your flight itinerary requires changing planes in a non-Schengen country en route to Malta, make sure you also have the required transit visa (if any) for that country.
Can a Filipino with a Schengen visa enter Malta as tourist? Is there a need to get another visa for Malta?
